Specifically the more recent argument that everyone’s been talking about. I’d honestly forgotten right up until I got a new comment and saw that people had been arguing.
So this lovely evening I decide to go and look at Amazon’s sale DVDs since I got some good ones recently. As I go to the DVD section I click one of the [many] areas to take you to a mini-sale of specific yet not specific stuff. This was for TV Box Sets. As I was looking through however, I spotted some great deals on some box sets and DVDs.
Note: All of these were Released by VIZ I believe.
I’ve never honestly seen The Taste of Tea but the reviews seem to be overall positive. It’s $10.49
Kamikaze Girls is a great film, it’s quirky and has a special charm to it. It’s $11.49
And finally, thank heavens, The Second Set of the Death Note anime is available for $25.49

So yesterday I was surfing around figure sites and I looked at my preorder list, like any concerned shopper I remembered that The Maid Gurren Lagann figures by Sega are coming out this month. I’ve been waiting for these ever since they went up for preorder but I’m always doubtful of Sega’s habit for making bad figures out of good ideas. This is one of those times.
Why Sega? Why? You put out such an adorable Nia the first time, why couldn’t you do it again D: I’ve yet to like any of their Yoko’s, the hair’s too strong for me. But the Nia that I’ve got of her in her normal wear is lovely <3 Not amazing, but better than this by a long shot.
TL;DR: Ick, much.
Weren’t they going to offer PayPal? I specifically remember that they were going to let people pay with it and instead get rid of their sexy goods or something to that nature…
But when I tried placing my order for the sale they only gave me the option of Credit Card… Anyone know what’s happening with that? D:

So anyone know if HLJ will also be getting stock of the limited version of the Kotobukiya Bikini Shana release? They only listed the normal release instead and most other distributors have both re-listed. I hope so, my Taiga could use a friend when she comes :3 I gave in to temptation in the form of Taiga when Tokyo Hunter had her listed last Sunday, I was honestly not expecting to find her, let alone for the price I would have to pay to get her off auction sites [Around USD$80-100] with free EMS shipping. So she should be here soon I hope <3 I’m really looking forward to her. Though I am sorry that she sold out as soon as she did, when I got home the next afternoon the auction was already gone; but I suppose Taiga does sell with her Tsun tsun goodness and all. XDXDXD
I’ve also gotten into Pullips recently, It’s a sick sick hobby but they’re so darling <3 I love them so much
Also my fight with Anime Wild finally finished!! All it took was threatening legal action due to their fraudulent nature, I gave them until Wed. to refund me and they refunded me the majority of it, they also sent out the nendoroid but I’m still $9.75 poorer XD But better than what they had ripped me off on.
Also, HLJ was being odd earlier, last week a figure that I had wanted for the longest time (Megahouse’s Miki Hoshii) finally came back in stock, so I requested them to ship her, the shipping was around 900 yen, not bad. But I saw that Megami and Nyan Type were in, so I canceled the original order and re-requested shipping, the shipping was 3,000 yen! Mind you, these magazines should have been able to be squished in the box but nope. So after a day of thinking on it (And nitpicking all the faults on the figure to make myself feel less bad) I decided to just give up and not get the figure or the magazines at all XD Which was a good move on my part since a few days later Taiga got listed and all that jazz.
Hmm… Well… I do believe I’ve reached the end of my ramblings. Other than that I finally edited something again! My computer was having major issues and I kept feeling less than pleasant with stress, mostly mentally, due to family. So a beta battle I had entered was having its first round end in a few days, so I pulled this together in a few hours Mind you, it’s supposed to be a mockery of effect spam AMVs. And Pink. Very pink.
Though I’ve got a MEP part for a Halloween MEP due in 2 days and a bunch of other things to do… but unfortunately I’ve become sick D: Which is rather inconvenient.
Okay, I’ve got a slight dilemma here, I made a purchase from Anime Wild over two months ago and even though I had seen positive things about the store, it seems I missed a LOT of negative reviews. So then I fell into their trap, but like a moron I kept having hope and kept trying to get into contact with them even though they ignored my emails. So I wait and wait and before I realize it my time to make a dispute with PayPal has closed and when I try they automatically close my attempted dispute.
So I sent Anime Wild yet another email requesting a refund, but I honestly doubt that I will get any kind of reply considering they’ve yet to reply to any. And I honestly just don’t know what to do or who to contact at this point, the site doesn’t have any contact info listed and all I could find online were these two phone numbers here http://www.trustlink.org/BusinessProfile.aspx?ID=205952835 Which I don’t know what good that will do.
So any suggestions on what steps I should take to get my refund would be greatly appreciated.
Really I do, the inconvenience that comes with the convenience is just too overwhelming.

Here is my little review for Animewild.com. It was my first time using the site and it looked like a wonderful site to buy figures from, cheap prices and quite a few figures that were harder to find. So I place two separate orders, one ships and when it arrives I have to pay postage even though my order qualified for free shipping. So I send them an email requesting they pay the $10 that I had to pay the post office. They reply to my email the next day saying that they will refund it that day.
I wait for a week and a half. Aggravated and curious as to why I’ve yet to receive it, I send another email asking about it. Ignored. I wait another week or so, nothing. So I wait a bit longer and then send another email. Nothing. And so far I’ve sent 4 different emails asking the reason and I’ve not received even one reply. I’ve got no idea what to do, this is the first time this has happened to me and I’m just very annoyed at it, they blantantly lied to me and then ignored me.
And I’ve still got the other order I placed with them ‘processing’ and I have no idea what the status is in their getting the Nagato Yuki Extravaganza Version since they will not reply to my emails.
If anyone has any suggestions I’d really appreciate the help because I have absolutely no idea what the heck I should do.

When I saw the prototype I had declared right then and there that I was absolutely madly in love with her. I watched the updates and was absolutely giddy when her colored prototype appeared online. So WHY do you do this to me Wave? I know all about your decent but not amazing quality, so I won’t be fooled by that. But she’s almost $80, NORMALLY your 1/8 figures are $50-$60, I’m sure it’s because you know that Taiga will sell, but dang. Really? Did you have to make my wallet weep as I glanced at my already high amount of orders?
…I’ll still get her, I’m so pathetic.
Though I still don’t think her alternate faces work with the pose. And I do know that’s why they can get away with charging so much for so little. [Well it is Taiga~ I'm not going to lie, She'll probably be around the size of my 1/10 Komugi by them]
